Hope decided to raid the dog biscuits. The jar was mostly empty, but she tried anyway.
We didn't get pics of the whole jar-removal process because we needed two sets of hands, but ultimately, we had to get the long-handled garden loppers out for the white ring that holds the top on, and the thick threaded top rim of the plastic jar. Strong kitchen shears sufficed to cut off the end initially so she could breathe, and cut down the length of the jar to the rim.
*sigh* - That's Hope. And this is her last morning with us. She's off to her forever home in an hour.
