More than 30 U.S. veterans and volunteer anglers met up at Dominion Power's Hot Ditch in Chesapeake on Tuesday January 17 for a day of fishing. The event was part of Project Healing Waters, an organization that supports the emotional and physical rehabilitation of active military personnel through fly-fishing outings and activities. These wounded warriors learn to make flies and fish with the help of volunteer anglers.
Virginia Sea Grant partner Susanna Musick of VIMS and some volunteers from the Virginia Saltwater Game Fish Tagging Program were present to tag fish before they were released.

For Easter the dogs got to hunt for greenies. Poor Khaos nearly threw out her back frantically sitting, laying down, and sitting again. She didn't understand the game very well!=)

Just a little retouching to kill off some of the overpowering green tone.

Rufus' new game is to tug Roisin's super heavy rucksack into the other room and then chew on the buckles. And if you take it back, he'll do it all over again.
