Day 43: Fireside Chat
Blackberry approached me this morning to ask how my studies are going. I told him that I've been studying a lot and having quite a bit of fun with it, but I'm still not sure I understand why tamales are soooo yummy, or the why humans make such a big deal about cats.
We sat together and talked all day. And at night, we built a nice warm fire and snuggled up in front of it. We played a few games of mancala and chess, but mostly just sat together enjoying the coziness.
I think maybe one of the best ways to learn something new is just by sitting around with a friend...

Day 22: Hiding Place
The humans went to an art gallery today, and brought back lots of beautiful stuff (you can look at the artist's website here).
The artwork proved to be some ideal hiding places for my favorite game, hide-and-seek. They were such good hiding places that I stayed in this purplish one for hours before Utterly finally found me. It would have been boring, had I been hiding anywhere else, but I could have sat looking at that artwork for hours more.
(by the way, I didn't edit this photo at all... and I think it looks good on black)

The Labrador Retriever (also Labrador, or Lab for short) is one of several kinds of retriever, a type of gun dog.

Day 108: in the mist
I went into town with the gang today, and we visited one of our favorite places in the city: the mist fountain. We had a lot of fun playing tag, hopping from rock to rock in the mist. Then, we decided to start playing our favorite game, hide-and-seek.
Because of the mist, it was surprisingly hard to find someone who was sitting right next to you. But it wasn't hard enough. I kept getting found! So, I hopped right to the middle rock, which was small and almost completely covered in mist.
It was a good hiding place, that's for sure! Nobody found me for half an hour... in which time I got completely soaked by the misters. Eventually, I got so wet that I had to come out of hiding before they found me. It was hard to find my way out, and when I did I was literally dripping!
I just hope I don't have to go back in the dryer...

Oh wait, that was the Dreamcast's tagline. Regardless, this puppy got quite a workout Saturday afternoon.
