Before I Became Famous - Major

Major the puppy when he was about six weeks old.
I decided to post this picture today to commemorate my first picture to get
one thousand views on Flickr - of which Major was the unsuspecting feature...
The original image (in portrait) was not manipulated, but I decided
on a small crop ...and then decided to place it in square format on a plain white
canvas using Adobe Elements.

This is one of my favorites from the few I shot that day. Her nose is so sharp and not too shiny. When I imagine taking this picture now I wonder how it was possible without tranquilizers!

I always have a look at the pictures of the dogs in the local pound and too my surprise I recognised a face! I gave them a ring and lucky Missy had already been collected by her owner. She spent less than two hours incarcerated.
