Ruby's puppies

A few weeks ago Ruby, a Maltese Lion (is that the name of the race in English?), owned by friends of ours, gave birth to five healthy young puppies. I've been taking some pictures of them. This one was taken some 20 hours after the birth. Note the little ribbons around their necks. The pink one is (of course) the only female in the bunch, aptly called Rose...
